Manage your money your way when you use a Blue Flame ATM and Debit Cards are available to access your Blue Flame Credit Union Checking and Savings accounts. Your Blue Flame ATM/Debit card may be used anywhere worldwide where Visa Debit cards are accepted.

The amount of your purchase or transaction will be deducted from your account immediately. Use it as an ATM card to withdraw cash from your Savings or Checking account at any ATM or at point of sale machines at participating merchants.

Travel Notifications

It is important that you notify us when you plan to use your ATM/Debit card while traveling. This will help in avoiding unusual activity being considered as fraud. Please complete the online Travel Notification (Debit & Credit Cards). In an effort to provide additional protection against Debit and Credit Card scams, your Blue Flame Credit Union will block any transactions originating from outside of the United States. If you have plans to travel outside of the U.S. please notify the credit union in advance, so that we may temporarily remove the block on your card until you return.

Fraud Protection

To protect your account, we monitor your ATM and Debit Card transactions for potentially fraudulent activity which may include a sudden change in locale, a string of costly purchases or any pattern associated with new fraud trends from around the world.

If we suspect fraudulent ATM or Debit Card use, we will call you to validate the legitimacy of the suspect transactions. Your participation in responding to our call is critical to prevent potential risk and avoid restrictions we may place on the use of your card.

  • Our automated call will ask you to verify recent transaction activity on your card.
  • You will be able to respond via your touch tone keypad.
  • You will also be provided a toll-free number to call should you have additional questions.

Our goal, quite simply, is to minimize your exposure to risk and the impact of any fraud. To ensure we can continue to reach you whenever potential fraud is detected, please keep us informed of your correct phone number and address at all times.
