Switch to Blue Flame
Our services are comparable to those of your current financial institution. The only thing missing is the fees. That’s the Credit Union difference.
We offer convenient access, a simple application process and friendly, personalized service. Moving your accounts to Blue Flame Credit Union is simple. Just follow these steps, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions!
Step 1: Join & Open a Checking Account
Open an individual account, joint account, or joint account with a minor. Your membership will come with a Savings Account. Check the options to add a Checking Account and Online Banking, plus any other accounts or services you’d like with this one form.
Step 2: Setup Direct Deposit
Provide the Blue Flame Credit Union Routing Number: 253074951 and your Blue Flame account number to your HR/Payroll department. Allocate how you’d like your funds distributed with our Direct Deposit Allocation Form or setup automatic transfers via Online Banking.
Step 3: Update Your Automatic Payments
Contact the companies and financial institutions that automatically deduct payments from your old checking account via ACH. Mortgage payments, utility bills, and insurance premiums are common examples. Provide them your new account information.
Blue Flame Credit Union Routing Number: 253074951
Step 4: Setup Overdraft Protection
We can all use a little extra peace of mind. If your checking account ever becomes overdrawn due to a subtraction error or other mistake, Overdraft Protection can cover you.
Step 5: Reduce Your Loan Rates
Start benefiting from credit union membership immediately by refinancing high-rate loans and credit card debt. Or apply for a new low-rate auto, personal or home loan!
You’re Finished! Welcome to the Blue Flame family!
Once your new account is active, you can begin using it immediately. Make sure to maintain enough balance in your old account to cover any outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals until the last item clears.
- Close Non-Blue Flame Old Accounts
- Destroy your old checks, ATM/Debit Card, and deposit slips.
